Sealing the Deal (Part 2) - Case Studies Involving New Client Contracts
Formerly titled Contracts 101B this class centers on the Residential Listing Agreement Exclusive Right to Sell and the Buyer-Tenant Representation agreement, along with the customary addenda, notices and information forms for each.
Students will work from case studies in phases for both buyers and sellers, beginning with the initial interview, completing the agreements (including negotiating sensitive items), explaining the Information About Brokerage Services form, explaining intermediary, and presenting a plan on how to proceed. The phases will be studied and completed sequentially, with time to discuss and debrief in between.
Completion of Sealing the Deal Part 1 is helpful but not mandatory.
