A focus on how to read and analyze financial statements for small to midsize businesses and determine the discretionary earnings, tangible and intangilbe assets that will be transferred with a sale of a business. Business financial statements and tax returns are prepared to minimize taxable income. To sell a business you will learn to recast or adjust those financial statements to show the business’s actual financial capability.
