Initial training to become a Business Broker taught by seasoned leaders in the profession. Learn about the role, value, and ethics of the Business Broker in the process of finding sellers, finding qualified buyers, preparing listings, negotiations and closing sales. You will become knowledgeable in the skill levels associated with the various business brokers associations, certifications, and specialties. Provides a review of the predominant brokerage industry sectors: Main Street Brokers, $10K to $1M, Middle Market Brokers, $200K - $10M and Mergers & Acquisitions, $5M - $100M. Includes an excellent 250 page book, a definitive 21st century guide to the practice of business brokerage in Texas.

(“TABB”) is a non-profit Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)6 trade association dedicated to improving and advancing the business brokerage profession for the benefit of its members and the general public. TABB has an established a Code of Ethics, provides education opportunities for its members and the general public, promulgates forms for use by its members regarding many aspects of the business sale/purchase process and affords networking opportunities for those in the business brokerage profession, their buyer or seller clients and those who provide services related to the business brokerage industry.
