Licensed since 2001, Darla Tovar, believing one should never stop learning, has dedicated herself to enhancing her Realtor skills through continuing education and has earned numerous professional designations including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR); Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS); New Home Specialist; Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI); and Seniors Real Estate Specialists (SRES); with additional classes dealing with Farm and Ranch and Commercial Properties.

In addition to providing residential real estate services, Darla loves assisting the small business community by helping these entrepreneurs locate the perfect business location for their enterprise.

Darla recognizes that, like searching for the perfect home, finding the right business location requires not only listening to the client to understand their needs, but having the vision to determine which area locations and facilities can best help them reach their intended goals.

Through her prior background as a mortgage lender and a title clerk in the automotive industry, where time management and efficiency were a high priority and she encountered many different personality types, she grew to understand the value of good communication, and listening very carefully and closely to each client’s needs.

A Houston resident for over 25 years with many resources, Darla is knowledgeable, honest and professional, yet treats every client like friends and family. She feels it is essential for them to feel comfortable and trust her with what may be one of the most important transactions they will make. As part of that trust, she believes her greatest duty is to keep her clients well informed through every step of the transaction until closing.

When not showing and selling real estate, Darla likes to bike ride and run. She also loves pets, country music, and riding with her husband on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle taking long trips to the Hill Country.
