HOUSTON — (March 28, 2016) — The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its decision to support incumbent Himesh Gandhi for Sugar Land City Council At-Large Position 1 in the Saturday, May 7 Election. Tina Wilcher, the 2016 HAR Fort Bend Political Affairs Advisory Leadership (PAAL) Chair, applauded the recommendation. “Himesh Gandhi, a longtime Sugar Land resident and Board Certified Commercial Real Estate attorney, is a hardworking, dedicated, and trustworthy person who works well with others in the challenging task of policy making, planning, and budgeting,” said Wilcher. “He understands the importance of homeownership and protecting private property rights. We believe his depth of knowledge on real estate matters will be an asset to our community. The REALTOR® Party supports Himesh Gandhi for re-election of Sugar Land At-Large Position 1.”
Marlena Berger, a member of the Fort Bend PAAL and resident of Sugar Land, also praised the recommendation. “Himesh Gandhi grew up in Sugar Land in Fort Bend County and came back to his home roots as quickly as he could after graduating from law school,” said Berger. “He is now raising his own family in the very city he grew up in – what better testimony is there? Council Member Gandhi loves Sugar Land wholeheartedly and has a vested interest in protecting everything it stands for, especially since everything we do now is in the best interest of our future generations. He will fight to protect and preserve property values.”
