HOUSTON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECOMMENDS TOM OLIVERSON FOR TEXAS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISTRICT 130

HOUSTON — (February 8, 2016) — The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its support of Dr. Tom Oliverson for Texas House of Representatives District 130 in the Tuesday, March 1 Primary Election. Ray Wade, 2016 Governmental Affairs Advisory Group Co-Chair, Political Affairs Advisory Group member, and TREPAC Trustee, applauded the announcement. “Dr. Oliverson understands the needs of the citizens, homeowners, and real estate community in the District. As a small business owner, he recognizes the challenges agents and brokers face. He supports meaningful property tax relief which will help promote home ownership. He grasps the transportation problems of the region and will work for solid solutions. Dr. Oliverson is the kind of voice the district needs in Austin.”

Chance Brown, 2016 HAR TREPAC Chairman, also expressed approval for HAR’s recommendation. “Dr. Oliverson best represents the values and beliefs of the voters in the district that the focus of the legislature should be on the continued growth of the Texas economy while ensuring that residents in District 130 have the best opportunities to enjoy life with minimal intrusion from government regulation.”
