HOUSTON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® ANNOUNCES SLATE OF RECOMMENDED CANDIDATES FOR DECEMBER 14 HOUSTON CITY COUNCIL RUNOFF ELECTIONS
HOUSTON — (December 3, 2013) — The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Board of Directors has announced its decision to support the following candidates in the Saturday, December 14 Houston City Council runoff elections:
“Houston’s economy is thriving, and the real estate market is at its strongest position in decades,” said HAR Political Affairs Advisory Group Chair Nancy Furst of The Furst Group. “HAR is proud to support these candidates due to their positions on issues important to REALTORS® and homeowners alike. These issues include private property rights, a market-based approach to real estate, and increasing accessibility to homeownership, among others.”
Early voting for the Houston City Council Runoff Elections begins on Wednesday, December 4 and ends Tuesday, December 10. Runoff Election Day is Saturday, December 14. Find your polling locations and times by visiting http://www.harrisvotes.org/
