When we compared Worsham Elementary School, which is a part of ALDINE ISD, with Carter Academy, which is a part of ALDINE ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Worsham Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Carter Academy did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Worsham Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 96.32% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (2.71%), African Americans (0.58%) and Two or More Races (0.39%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
At Carter Academy, Hispanics make up 68.56% of student population, followed by African Americans (20.57%), Asians (4.85%), Whites or Caucasians (4.35%), Two or More Races (1.17%) and Native Americans (0.50%).
Based on household incomes, Worsham Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 94.00% compared to 87.63% at Carter Academy.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Worsham Elementary School has 261 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 50.48% of student population. Carter Academy has significantly more ELLs at 288 or about 48.16% of student population.
Worsham Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 50.29%, gifted and talented students, 7.54%, while 12.19% are in the special education program. Carter Academy bilingual students comprise 46.82%, gifted and talented students, 5.52%, and 10.54% are in the special education program.
