Rrisd Early College High School's two out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) and post-secondary. Stony Point High School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Stony Point High School. They make up for 43.74% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (31.77%), African Americans (14.02%), Asians (6.08%), Two or More Races (3.74%) and Native Americans (0.31%).
The student population at Rrisd Early College High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 36.48%, followed by Hispanics (35.70%), Asians (14.70%), African Americans (9.45%), Two or More Races (3.15%) and Native Americans (0.26%).
Based on household incomes, Stony Point High School’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 27.69% compared to 27.56% at Rrisd Early College High School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Stony Point High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 9.01% of its student population compared to 8.92% at Rrisd Early College High School.
In addition, Stony Point High School has 8.51% bilingual students, 6.43% are in the gifted and talented program, while 11.78% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Rrisd Early College High School with 8.92% bilingual students, 10.76% gifted and talented students and 4.20% students in the special education program.
Stony Point High School's 163 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 6.7 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 11.7 years.
