Indian Springs Elementary School's three out of seven distinctions are in post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Startzville Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Startzville Elementary School. They make up for 61.12% of student population, followed by Hispanics (34.19%), Two or More Races (3.51%), African Americans (0.47%) and Asians (0.23%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
The student population at Indian Springs Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 49.01%, followed by Hispanics (36.06%), Two or More Races (7.27%), African Americans (4.89%), Asians (2.51%) and Native Americans (0.13%).
Based on household incomes, Startzville Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 63.70% compared to 11.36% at Indian Springs Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Startzville Elementary School has a higher number of English Language Learners comprising 4.45% of its student population compared to 2.11% at Indian Springs Elementary School.
In addition, Startzville Elementary School has 4.45% bilingual students, 6.79% are in the gifted and talented program, while 12.18% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Indian Springs Elementary School with 1.85% bilingual students, 12.68% gifted and talented students and 13.21% students in the special education program.
