Choosing the best possible elementary school is critical to a child’s foundational development. In Texas, public school districts adopt curriculum standards set by the State Board of Education. Distinction Designations for Roberta Tipps Academy and Anna May Daulton Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Roberta Tipps Academy. They make up for 35.07% of student population, followed by African Americans (30.22%), Hispanics (18.66%), Asians (10.26%), Two or More Races (5.60%) and Native Americans (0.19%).
The student population at Anna May Daulton Elementary School is also predominantly by African Americans at 36.84%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (25.41%), Asians (18.50%), Hispanics (14.44%) and Two or More Races (4.81%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, Roberta Tipps Academy’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 41.42% compared to 16.69% at Anna May Daulton Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Roberta Tipps Academy has a slightly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 15.86% of its student population compared to 10.83% at Anna May Daulton Elementary School.
Roberta Tipps Academy’s bilingual students comprise 15.11%, gifted and talented students, 5.22%, while 12.50% are in the special education program. Anna May Daulton Elementary School bilingual students comprise 10.83%, gifted and talented students, 2.71%, and 9.77% are in the special education program.
