Edna Mae Fielder Elementary School's five out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps. Robert King Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Robert King Elementary School. They make up for 54.44% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.65%), Whites or Caucasians (17.07%), Asians (5.54%), Two or More Races (4.96%) and Native Americans (0.35%).
The student population at Edna Mae Fielder Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 40.02%, followed by Hispanics (38.48%), African Americans (9.48%), Asians (9.04%), Two or More Races (2.76%) and Native Americans (0.11%).
Based on household incomes, Robert King Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 62.86% compared to 35.83% at Edna Mae Fielder Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Robert King Elementary School has a slightly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 36.22% of its student population compared to 33.30% at Edna Mae Fielder Elementary School.
In addition, Robert King Elementary School has 35.76% bilingual students, 0.58% are in the gifted and talented program, while 17.65% are in the special education program.
