Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Red Rock Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in with 25% student progress. Emile Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Red Rock Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 80.18% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (17.12%), Two or More Races (1.65%), African Americans (0.75%) and Asians (0.30%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Emile Elementary School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 59.05% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (30.94%), Two or More Races (5.01%), African Americans (4.24%), Asians (0.51%) and Native Americans (0.26%).
Based on household incomes, Red Rock Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 88.74% compared to 69.32% at Emile Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Red Rock Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 55.86% of its student population compared to 29.91% at Emile Elementary School.
Red Rock Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 55.86%, gifted and talented students, 2.70%, while 13.66% are in the special education program. Emile Elementary School bilingual students comprise 29.91%, gifted and talented students, 2.31%, and 12.07% are in the special education program.
