Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Pilgrim Academy is Hispanics who make up nearly 90.57% of student population, followed by African Americans (6.84%), Whites or Caucasians (1.59%), Asians (0.33%), Two or More Races (0.33%) and Native Americans (0.25%).
At Bellfort Early Childhood Center, Hispanics make up 80.87% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.49%), Whites or Caucasians (1.37%) and Asians (0.27%). There is no Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Pilgrim Academy’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 97.33% compared to 98.91% at Bellfort Early Childhood Center.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Pilgrim Academy has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 81.39% of its student population compared to 64.75% at Bellfort Early Childhood Center.
