Owens Intermediate's one out of seven distinction is in Mathematics. Klentzman Intermediate did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Owens Intermediate is Hispanics who make up nearly 81.45% of student population, followed by African Americans (9.46%), Asians (4.79%), Whites or Caucasians (2.58%), Native Americans (1.35%) and Two or More Races (0.37%).
At Klentzman Intermediate, Hispanics make up 73.98% of student population, followed by African Americans (18.13%), Whites or Caucasians (3.33%), Asians (2.96%), Native Americans (1.23%) and Two or More Races (0.25%).
Based on household incomes, Owens Intermediate’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 84.40% compared to 82.86% at Klentzman Intermediate.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Owens Intermediate has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 80.22% of its student population compared to 68.68% at Klentzman Intermediate.
