Canyon Creek Elementary School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Neysa Callison Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Neysa Callison Elementary School. They make up for 51.91% of student population, followed by African Americans (20.07%), Whites or Caucasians (16.25%), Two or More Races (8.29%), Asians (3.32%) and Native Americans (0.17%).
The student population at Canyon Creek Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 38.07%, followed by Asians (38.67%), Hispanics (14.20%), Two or More Races (7.55%), African Americans (1.21%) and Native Americans (0.30%).
Based on household incomes, Neysa Callison Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 59.87% compared to 3.63% at Canyon Creek Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Neysa Callison Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 22.55% of its student population compared to 7.85% at Canyon Creek Elementary School.
In addition, Neysa Callison Elementary School has 31.01% bilingual students, 4.31% are in the gifted and talented program, while 15.75% are in the special education program.
