When we compared Moore Elementary School, which is a part of CORPUS CHRISTI ISD, with Los Encinos Ses, which is a part of CORPUS CHRISTI ISD, we noted a big difference in ratings.
Moore Elementary School has a regular student population of 516 with a 15.7 students/teacher ratio while Los Encinos Ses has 268 students and a student-teacher ratio of 14.1 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Los Encinos Ses's five out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Moore Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Moore Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 84.69% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (7.17%), African Americans (3.88%), Asians (2.52%) and Two or More Races (1.74%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Los Encinos Ses, Hispanics make up 97.39% of student population, followed by African Americans (1.12%), Whites or Caucasians (0.75%) and Two or More Races (0.75%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, Moore Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 90.31% compared to 89.55% at Los Encinos Ses.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Moore Elementary School has a slightly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 11.82% of its student population compared to 18.28% at Los Encinos Ses.
Moore Elementary School has no gifted and talented student, while 16.28% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 11.43% students.
