Both schools garnered only four distinction designations or awards for outstanding performance. For Mitchell Intermediate these are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science and post-secondary while Vogel Intermediate secured in Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Mitchell Intermediate. They make up for 62.50% of student population, followed by Hispanics (21.37%), Asians (8.24%), African Americans (3.99%), Two or More Races (3.55%) and Native Americans (0.27%).
The student population at Vogel Intermediate is also predominantly by Hispanics at 41.25%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (40.14%), African Americans (11.83%), Two or More Races (3.34%), Asians (2.53%) and Native Americans (0.40%).
