Distinction Designations for Mendenhall Elementary School and Isaacs Early Childhood School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Mendenhall Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 71.28% of student population, followed by African Americans (12.28%), Whites or Caucasians (9.86%), Two or More Races (4.15%), Asians (2.25%) and Native Americans (0.17%).
The student population at Isaacs Early Childhood School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 37.14%, followed by Asians (22.86%), Whites or Caucasians (20.82%), African Americans (15.10%), Two or More Races (3.27%) and Native Americans (0.82%).
Based on household incomes, Mendenhall Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 76.82% compared to 51.84% at Isaacs Early Childhood School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Mendenhall Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 59.17% of its student population compared to 62.45% at Isaacs Early Childhood School.
