Ketelsen Elementary School's five out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Henderson N Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Ketelsen Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 95.25% of student population, followed by African Americans (3.10%), Whites or Caucasians (1.03%), Asians (0.21%), Native Americans (0.21%) and Two or More Races (0.21%).
At Henderson N Elementary School, African Americans make up 83.63% of student population, followed by Hispanics (15.04%), Whites or Caucasians (0.44%), Native Americans (0.44%) and Two or More Races (0.44%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Ketelsen Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 95.25% compared to 99.56% at Henderson N Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Ketelsen Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 43.60% of its student population compared to 9.29% at Henderson N Elementary School.
Ketelsen Elementary School 9.71% are in the special education program, 11.16% are in the gifted and talented program, and bilingual students comprise 40.91% students.
