Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
W H Adamson High School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Justin F Kimball High School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Justin F Kimball High School is Hispanics who make up nearly 71.71% of student population, followed by African Americans (26.16%), Whites or Caucasians (1.22%), Two or More Races (0.46%), Native Americans (0.23%) and Asians (0.15%).
At W H Adamson High School, Hispanics make up 94.92% of student population, followed by African Americans (2.61%), Whites or Caucasians (1.34%), Native Americans (0.53%), Two or More Races (0.33%) and Asians (0.27%).
Based on household incomes, the Justin F Kimball High School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 86.31% compared to 96.19% at W H Adamson High School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Justin F Kimball High School has 676 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 51.41% of student population. W H Adamson High School has significantly more ELLs at 919 or about 61.39% of student population.
