Jasper High School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, post-secondary and with 25% student progress. Plano West Senior High School’s four out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Asians comprise the biggest group at Jasper High School. They make up for 49.20% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (25.80%), Hispanics (10.94%), African Americans (9.42%), Two or More Races (4.15%) and Native Americans (0.40%).
The student population at Plano West Senior High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 32.84%, followed by Asians (29.32%), Hispanics (20.64%), African Americans (13.18%), Two or More Races (3.71%) and Native Americans (0.23%).
Based on household incomes, the Jasper High School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 19.01% compared to 24.70% at Plano West Senior High School.
