Macgregor Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) and post-secondary. Hines-Caldwell has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Hines-Caldwell is Hispanics who make up nearly 80.31% of student population, followed by African Americans (18.03%), Whites or Caucasians (0.83%), Asians (0.55%) and Two or More Races (0.28%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Macgregor Elementary School, African Americans make up 69.05% of student population, followed by Hispanics (24.21%), Two or More Races (3.58%), Whites or Caucasians (1.68%), Asians (1.05%) and Native Americans (0.42%).
Based on household incomes, Hines-Caldwell’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 92.79% compared to 79.79% at Macgregor Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Hines-Caldwell has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 59.78% of its student population compared to 13.05% at Macgregor Elementary School.
