Geneva Heights Elementary School has a regular student population of 514 with a 15.1 students/teacher ratio while Dan D Rogers Elementary School has 460 students and a student-teacher ratio of 15.1 students/teacher ratio.

It is in this area where the two schools differ. Geneva Heights Elementary School’s only distinction designation is in Science. Dan D Rogers Elementary School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Geneva Heights Elementary School. They make up for 43.58% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (36.19%), African Americans (11.09%), Two or More Races (6.03%), Asians (2.14%) and Native Americans (0.58%).
The student population at Dan D Rogers Elementary School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 51.09%, followed by African Americans (21.09%), Whites or Caucasians (16.96%), Asians (5.22%), Two or More Races (4.35%) and Native Americans (1.09%).
Based on household incomes, the Geneva Heights Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 43.77% compared to 74.78% at Dan D Rogers Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Geneva Heights Elementary School has 99 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 19.26% of student population. Dan D Rogers Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 229 or about 49.78% of student population.
In addition, Geneva Heights Elementary School has 47.08% bilingual students, 12.65% are in the gifted and talented program, while 8.95% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Dan D Rogers Elementary School with 43.48% bilingual students, 15.87% gifted and talented students and 12.17% students in the special education program.
