When we compared Florence Elementary School, which is a part of KELLER ISD, with Heritage Elementary School, which is a part of KELLER ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Florence Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in 25% closing performance gaps. Heritage Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Florence Elementary School is Whites or Caucasians who make up nearly 76.99% of student population, followed by Hispanics (11.72%), Two or More Races (5.02%), Asians (3.56%), African Americans (2.09%) and Native Americans (0.63%).
The student population at Heritage Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 32.03%, followed by African Americans (26.34%), Hispanics (24.23%), Asians (10.24%), Two or More Races (6.34%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
Based on household incomes, the Florence Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 7.74% compared to 44.88% at Heritage Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Florence Elementary School has 7 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 1.46% of student population. Heritage Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 89 or about 14.47% of student population.
Florence Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 1.26%, gifted and talented students, 5.86%, while 12.55% are in the special education program. Heritage Elementary School bilingual students comprise 12.52%, gifted and talented students, 3.25%, and 14.80% are in the special education program.
