Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Corey Fine Arts / Dual Language Academy's one out of seven distinction is in 25% closing performance gaps. Miller Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Corey Fine Arts / Dual Language Academy. They make up for 46.44% of student population, followed by Hispanics (37.68%), African Americans (9.78%), Two or More Races (4.28%), Asians (1.02%) and Native Americans (0.81%).
The student population at Miller Elementary School is also predominantly by African Americans at 32.78%, followed by Hispanics (29.77%), Whites or Caucasians (27.26%), Asians (6.19%), Two or More Races (3.51%) and Native Americans (0.33%).

Miller Elementary School has more ELLs at 84 or about 14.05% of student population.
Corey Fine Arts / Dual Language Academy’s bilingual students comprise 16.50%, gifted and talented students, 18.94%, while 5.09% are in the special education program.
