When we compared Bryker Woods Elementary School, which is a part of AUSTIN ISD, with Padron Elementary School, which is a part of AUSTIN ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Bryker Woods Elementary School and Padron Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Bryker Woods Elementary School is Whites or Caucasians who make up nearly 66.48% of student population, followed by Hispanics (19.48%), Two or More Races (6.88%), Asians (4.30%) and African Americans (2.87%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Padron Elementary School, Hispanics make up 93.92% of student population, followed by African Americans (4.56%), Whites or Caucasians (1.14%) and Two or More Races (0.38%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Bryker Woods Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 9.46% compared to 92.21% at Padron Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Bryker Woods Elementary School has 12 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 3.44% of student population. Padron Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 457 or about 86.88% of student population.
Bryker Woods Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 3.44%, gifted and talented students, 6.02%, while 6.88% are in the special education program. Padron Elementary School bilingual students comprise 86.31%, gifted and talented students, 3.99%, and 8.94% are in the special education program.
