Brookline Elementary School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Barrick Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Brookline Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 95.68% of student population, followed by African Americans (3.40%), Whites or Caucasians (0.79%) and Asians (0.13%). There is no Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
At Barrick Elementary School, Hispanics make up 95.75% of student population, followed by African Americans (2.40%), Whites or Caucasians (1.11%), Asians (0.37%) and Two or More Races (0.37%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Brookline Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 96.47% compared to 99.08% at Barrick Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Brookline Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 66.62% of its student population compared to 63.40% at Barrick Elementary School.
Brookline Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 61.65%, gifted and talented students, 5.63%, while 4.58% are in the special education program. Barrick Elementary School bilingual students comprise 62.11%, gifted and talented students, 4.07%, and 4.99% are in the special education program.
