Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Billy Earl Dade Middle School's three out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, post-secondary and with 25% student progress. Ignite Middle School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Billy Earl Dade Middle School. They make up for 63.60% of student population, followed by Hispanics (33.69%), Whites or Caucasians (1.08%), Two or More Races (0.81%), Asians (0.41%) and Native Americans (0.41%).
