Distinction Designations for Bear Branch Elementary School and Nichols Sawmill Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Bear Branch Elementary School is Whites or Caucasians who make up nearly 70.32% of student population, followed by Hispanics (20.14%), African Americans (3.00%), Two or More Races (3.00%), Asians (2.65%) and Native Americans (0.53%).

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Bear Branch Elementary School has a higher number of English Language Learners comprising 3.71% of its student population compared to 2.78% at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School.
