Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Bastrop High School and Cedar Creek High School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Bastrop High School. They make up for 58.10% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (32.07%), African Americans (5.14%), Two or More Races (3.66%), Asians (0.51%) and Native Americans (0.26%).
At Cedar Creek High School, Hispanics make up 81.39% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (14.05%), African Americans (2.28%), Two or More Races (1.91%), Asians (0.16%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
Based on household incomes, the Bastrop High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 52.19% compared to 63.94% at Cedar Creek High School.
