Family Friendly Fall 2021 Outdoor Activities

Hi friends. Are you and your family in need of some fun activities to indulge in this Fall? Things like hayrides, pumpkin patches, and animal interactions? Well the Greater Houston Area has plenty of options that everyone is sure to love. Heres a guide to help you get outside and enjoy the lovely weather.

Dewberry Farm - Brookshire TX - This farm has 8 acres of corn mazes and a large pumpkin patch. They also have farm animals, a gigantic children's play area with many rides & activities, areas for cute pictures, and an array of food & drink vendors. Starting October 2nd, every Friday & Saturday after dark begins the Spooky Trails with 3 levels to choose from - Friendly, Freaky, or Frightful!

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm - Spring TX - Here we have everything from pumpkin patches to bounce houses & slides. Theres train rides, hay rides, and a petting zoo. At least 3 different food & drink vendors on site at all times!

Oil Ranch - Hockley TX - Home to the Scare Crow Festival with 85+ different scare crows scattered throughout the farm, all dressed in fun outfits. They offer hayrides, a hay bale maze, pony rides, and putt putt golf. You can also opt to feed or milk a cow as well!

Old Macdonalds Farm - Humble TX - This large, long running farm has a pumpkin patch that offers 1 free pumpkin to children. There is a petting zoo with all types of animals, even some free roaming animals such as deer, ducks, and peacocks. Multiple playgrounds are spread around and you can ride a train or some cute ponies!

7 Acre Woods - Conroe TX - Here you can explore the pumpkin patch and get some cute pictures, go on a hayride, or see some animals in the petting zoo. They also have a western play town for kids to explore, a giant playground, mini golf, and a zip line!

P - 6 Farms - Montgomery TX - Now this place is a true attraction, bringing in people from all over the surrounding cities. Basically a full blown Fall themed carnival with mini roller coasters, a ferris wheel, and other fun rides & games. They have a beautiful sunflower field and great food & drink vendors. The pumpkin patch here is unmatched and has many artsy set ups for trendy photo ops!

TGR Exotics Wild life Park - Spring TX - If you're really into animals and looking for something exciting you need to visit. There is 25 different species and over 100 animals such as sloths, porcupines, wild cats, black bears, kangaroos, and so much more. Make sure to go to their website ahead of time to book your tour!

Kingwood Town Center Park - Kingwood TX - This outdoor hub hosts a big variety of events that you can view on their website calendar. Things like car shows, family festivals, and markets. They often have live music and other entertainment as well. They even host a popular farmers market every Thursday!

Sugar Land Town Square - Sugar Land TX - This town square is basically like an outdoor mall and has such beautiful architecture. Theres a plethora of shops & restaurants to enjoy and a large green space where different events are hosted every weekend. In the center is a large, picturesque water fountain that you'll definitely want to capture! download_our_local_maps
