The gist of this blog is 'building anew'.  Starting fresh and adjusting to all of the changes of today in 2020.  I am loving the idea of Tiny Homes and how they might work for me or for a client in some way.  Whether it is for business purposes or for actually 365 daily living for those who choose to live simple and efficient. But first, please allow me to share a little more background about myself as I continue to rebuild my business in Real Estate.  I begin in 2006 with Coldwell Banker United Realtors in Galveston, TX.  In my small community of the LaMarque and Texas City, TX areas there were very few Black women in Real Estate.  But there was one who had a huge influence on my choice to pursue the field of Real Estate seriously.  Her name was/is Pat Nelson.  She is no longer living but was a true Light.  Our families were close, but I only saw her in passing in the community.  She always had an encouraging word, looked professional, and was a single woman taking care of herself.  I never knew what she did for a living until one day I asked.  She told me she was a Realtor and encouraged me to get my license.  And so I did.  It is quite funny that I am just remembering that she was so instrumental in WHY I chose Real Estate.  I attended College of the Mailand in Texas City, completed the coursework, took the State exam twice, and passed it on the second try. Acquiring my Texas State Realtor's license is something that I hold in high esteem and close to my heart.  It is something that was a personal choice that I made on my own to make my way through this life in livelihood for myself and for my then young daughter.  I started out with great ambition and a genuine love for helping people in the transactions of selling and purchasing something so personal and important.  Things have evolved and transformed so much since 2006.  Lots of lessons and blessings to be grateful for, for sure. The digital world and social media have changed the game of Real Estate as well as the multitude of new agents who are in the business with enthusiasm and drive.  It is a competitive business.  Still, the best of it lies in having a love for people and community as well as the beautification of the home and how we choose to make our lives more functionally secure and happy.  Please consider me to assist you in any of your Real Estate needs and wants.  My number is (409)739-7876.  I am currently back with the same brokerage I began with, Coldwell Banker United Realtors brokerage located in Clear Lake, TX. My daughter is now a Junior in High School, sixteen years old, and growing.  I feel as if I too am celebrating a Sweet 16, kinda.  Learning new things and trying to make my place in an awkward space although knowing, that there is nothing new under the Sun.  I'm up for the challenges and hope to be an innovative agent, adding something different with the inclusion and consideration of the evolving family unit and the diverse lifestyle needs and wants of my clients.

Now, about these Tiny homes...

And for my Realtor colleagues who may not know, YES there R possibilities to earn a good commission on a sale of a tiny home, and other tiny home businesses may offer a referral fee. Each tiny home builder might have different ways of handling a transaction. Call me and let's see how I can assist.  Thanks in advance! https://www.littlehomesoftexas.com/
