Two of my favorite things have started back up recently, my training for another challenging ride and my neighborhood beer garden. Saint Arnold’s Beer Garden recently opened back up to limited seating and continues to offer drive-thru services! This year I joined the Saint Arnold’s Bike Team to help raise money for the Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) and will participate in Bike Around The Bay (BATB) in October. Right now we are training for this adventure solo, but soon I will join my fellow teammates in training rides and training beers. The team and ride are still open if you or someone you know wants to join!

What exactly does participating in BATB entail? It means I have committed to riding 175 miles around Galveston Bay on October 24-25 to help raise money for the GBF. BATB showcases the natural beauty of Galveston Bay and raises awareness of the need to protect it. I’m so excited to see the picturesque landscape of Texas’ upper coast from my bike over this two-day ride. You can help support my ride and the work of the GBF by donating today.

I had a great time participating in the ride last year, and am looking forward to doing it again this October!
