Starting a blog is a bit intimidating. But here I go... (again)

Yes, I'm going to provide some informative, helpful "nuggets of wisdom" for home buyers, home owners and home sellers, but first I need to figure this "blog" thing out.

Where did the word blog come from?
Blogging came from two words which were combined. Originally people had web logs and eventually out of frequent use weblog-blog came about.https://answers.com/q/where_did_blogging_come_from

Ok, so of course like J-Lo or Bennifer (too dated??) we're too lazy to use more than TWO WORDS for any one thing. *sigh* At least now I know why it's called a "blog".

Moving on....

So my WebLog (eh-hem) is going to share some of my thoughts, maybe real estate, maybe roller derby, maybe life in general, but hopefully, no matter what--you take something from them.

Next item: ROLLER DERBY. Yes I play it. It's a blast. It's HARD work. But whether or not the scoreboard reflects a "W" for my team or not, there is ALWAYS a WIN. For example: You were quicker getting up when you were knocked down. You FINALLY got that spin-move to help you get through that dad-gum wall! You kept your attitude in check. I've said it before and I'll say it again....ROLLER DERBY AND REAL ESTATE ARE VERY SIMILAR. You may not always get that contract accepted. Sometimes there are walls you need to break through (sometimes literally but usually only figuratively!) You have to keep your attitude in check. In any case, tenacity is key, and I have a boatload of that!

I'm not really sure how long a web-logging post should usually be, but I just wanted to say 'hi', tell you why I think my work and my play are so similar, and why I feel like I'm pretty alright at both of them.
