Texas Housing Market – 1st Quarter 2018 saw the median price increase 5.78% compared to 1st Quarter 2017.  The largest percentage price increase came in the $100,000-$199,999 and $200,000-$299,999 sectors each having over 25% increases compared to 1st Quarter 2017.    1st Quarter 2018 has 3.3 months of inventory compared to 3.5 months of inventory compared to same quarter last year.  The average days on market of homes for sale for 1st Quarter 2018 was 66 days while the days to close came in at 33 for a total time on market of 99 days.
