Property taxes if you sold your home last year -- remember, if you sold your home during the year in 2015, your proof source for taxes paid that year for the pr...operty that you sold is on you closing statement. Even though you most likely did not get a statement from the county, school district, or MUD district, you can use the amount on your closing disclosure as the receipt for taxes paid on that property.
