Some builders are reporting a price increase for the month of August. They are reporting depleted inventories-especially in the Cinco Ranch community. " All my inventory is sold!", stated a new home builder, "I have homes that are scheduled to be completed in Decemember and they are selling fast!"
Demand for housing is strong in the Katy area. The Houston Chronicle reported in an article that there is a delay of construction materials due to the demand. "Delivery of cement is causing delays in the completion of foundations.", stated new home builder.
The Diaz Team is currently searching for homes to list in the greater Katy area because of the demand for housing.
