Somer Lynne Padilla Joins the Ferester Team

Recently I interviewed an agent who is an entrepreneur, published photographer, graphic designer and marketing specialist, and who is now using her talents to promote and enhance her real estate career. She was recently asked to join the prestigious Ferester Team, led by Beth Ferester at Coldwell Banker United Realtors® in The Woodlands. An outstanding team in The Woodlands and Spring, the Ferester Team is THE leading team at Coldwell Banker's Woodlands office and is one of the top teams in all of Southern Texas. Beth's philosophy in choosing agents is not to choose the ordinary, but rather the extraordinary.

Here’s a brief Q&A to introduce you to Somer.

What knowledge and experience make you the best choice for real estate?

SP: “My photography and marketing background has helped me tremendously. Image IS everything, and many agents don’t invest as they should in this department. From the seller’s point of view, the colorful and vibrant marketing materials I design, along with magazine-quality photography, video presentation, and state-of-the-art interactive 360-degree virtual tours, attracts buyers enabling sellers to stand out from the rest. All my listings receive these services regardless of their price point, while many other agents usually only invest in these services for higher-end homes. You can visit EpicenterTours.com for samples of my work.”

What do you offer clients searching for a new home?

SP: “It is an honor when a family selects me to help them find their future home. Purchasing a home is one of the most important purchases you will do in life, and I want to be sure you are supported and educated every step of the way. I’m always building on my skills and continuing education, so that I can represent my clients thoroughly and successfully. My strengths: patience and my ability to work well under pressure. I’ve mastered these skills over the years as a mother of four children and as I’ve photographed infants, young children, and family portraits with a multitude of personalities. I have a knack of putting my subjects at ease, and that transcends to my real estate clients, creating an enjoyable experience as it should be."

What made you want to join Coldwell Banker and The Ferester Team?

SP: “Coldwell Banker United Realtors® is a leader in quality real estate locally and throughout the world. I’ve worked with Beth on marketing and photography projects for her listings in the past, and we worked well together—it was a good fit. Beth’s Elite Mentor Group is a group that many agents want to be part of. Beth has been ranked among the Top 10 of more than 26,000 realtors in the greater Houston area for 13 consecutive years and is one of the most sought-after agents. I feel blessed that she’s taken me into her fold. Beth creates a very strong support system for me and the other agents on her team. So naturally I felt this is where I belonged”

What exciting plans do you have for the immediate future in your career?

SP: One of the most exciting is the new subdivision we are launching just south of The Woodlands. It is a gated community of 44 lots from a half-acre to a full acre; many built around a natural pond sitting in a heavily wooded section of Shadow Creek Estates. The new development will feature a dream team of builders known in the Houston area and The Woodlands. This "dream team" includes Tom Cox, Jeff Paul, Tommy Bailey, Matt Powers, and Shawn Cannon. Beth and I are handling the exclusive onsite sales and marketing for the new area. We are so excited to be representing this fine group of builders in this fabulous new area.”
