Real Estate & 2011!

Hello everyone to 2011! It has taken me a while to introduce this new year, as the real estate market in Houston has been busy since the first day of the new year! That’s good news for everyone!

BUYING - I am thoroughly excited about 2011, and I feel the momentum of the real estate market. Prices are good, rates are still low and there’s inventory on the ground, perfect for buyers looking for that ready to move in home! Plus there are great deals to build as well!

SELLING- More than ever, homeowners looking to sell need to spend a little bit of money on getting their home ready to sell, so that buyers get a “ready to move-in” feel, without a laundry list of “to-do” items. Many buyers can get a brand new home for about the same price and are getting incentives from the builders. For those re-sale homes, it is important to show your home in the best light and make it move in ready for the buyer. Some new paint, a carpet cleaning and some staging goes a long way when it comes to selling your home!
