Golf at Cypresswood

Wednesday I palyed golf at the Cypress golf course at the Cypresswood Golf Course.  This time of year is my favorite time to play.  I think because of the severity of our summers, i.e. heat, hurricaines and humidity, the fall change is very much a welcomed time of year.  I have a group of guys that I play with regularly on Wednesdays.  We tee off early(8:00 am) because the heat bothers one of the guys.  We seem to go through the same routine and the same old golf jokes and sayings everytime we play.  It things like "Is my putt good?" (or good-good if you want your putt given to you in exchange for the other guy not having to putt out either).  Another favorite saying is tell someone they are standing too close to the ball - after they swing (Ha..Ha).  Anyway, we all hit enough good shots to keep us coming back.  We refer to who shot the best score as the gold medalist for the day.  Afterwards we have lunch, then we head off to salvage some part of the work day.  Next Wednesday, it will be pretty much the same thing.  It never seems to get old.
