Today I wanted to share with you all things Sea Isle, Galveston TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE SEA ISLE IN GALVESTON TX

Where is Sea Isle:

Sunset Cove is located in Galveston Island, Texas. It is located on the far west end with 1600 properties straddling the FM 3005 from Galveston Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. It is approximately 17 miles west of 61st street and 7 miles east of San Luis Pass.

Why folks choose Sea Isle:

Sea Isle, Galveston TX is a sought-after neighborhood for those who love to swim, fish and cruise around in golf carts. It offers beachfront, beachside and bayside homes, ranging from intimate bungalows to large spacious homes. There is also a nice mix of new construction homes and older homes with charm and character. These homes can fit anywhere on the price spectrum of about 150K up to 2 million dollars.

Amenities in Sea Isle:

In Sea Isle the public has access to 1.6 miles of adjacent beach but the homeowners can enjoy private use of a fishing pier, park and picnic pavilion with barbecues and community swimming pool. Residents also have access to a basketball, volleyball and basketball court as well as a full-service marina boat launch and popular restaurant that overlooks the bay making this neighborhood one of the most unique in Galveston real estate.

District Rating:

B Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 Schools of Choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Nearby:

Galveston Island is one of the oldest cities in Texas! It is filled with rich history and adventure. Its residents can enjoy 32 miles of beaches, amusement parks, boutique shopping, and some of the best local dining.  Sea Isle has its own small convenience store, Sea Isle Supermarket, located on Termini-San Luis Pass at Nueces Drive. Just a few miles back towards town, just before Jamaica Beach, is a Chevron convenience store, Seaven Seas Market which has just about all grocery items if you need extra or forgot something while in town. Also, before hitting the Seawall from East to West are: Way West Grill & Pizzeria, Buck’s West, Shrimp & Stuff Food Truck, Dollar General, Waterman’s Restaurant, Hummel’s Convenience Store & Deli, Mario’s Pizza, Woody’s Bar, Lucky Way Food, Gas & Liquor Store, Seahorse Grill and Jack’s Pub.

Nearby is the popular Dos Vacas Muertas bird sanctuary which is a 6-acre preserve where you can bird watch to see migrating bird species as well as birds that make the island their home year-round. There are kayaking spots nearby as well as Galvestons public golf course, Moody Garden Golf Course.
