Today I wanted to share with you all things Indian Beach, Galveston TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE INDIAN BEACH IN GALVESTON TX

Where is Indian Beach:

Indian Beach is located in Galveston, Texas on Galveston’s West End with properties on both the Gulf of Mexico side and the Galveston Bay side. Indian Beach is located just 2 miles West of Jamaica Beach.

Why folks choose Indian Beach:

Indian Beach is a well-established neighborhood in Galveston, Texas. Indian beach features midsize beach and bay houses on Galveston’s West End with Gulf and Bay views. Indian Beach has some of the most beautiful beaches on the West End. Indian Beach was developed by Galveston real estate developer George Mitchell in 1980. This community features 364 lots that range in size from half an acre plus. Indian beach still has lots available for new construction. Majority of houses in this community are used are vacation rental properties.

Amenities in Indian Beach:

Indian Beach offers their residents a recreation center with a swimming pool, tennis courts, community fishing pier, and wetlands with interesting wildlife. The fishing pier extends into Galveston Bay. Vacation rentals are permitted, with regulations limiting parking and use of the pool and fishing pier. Four miles away is Galveston State Park where you can swim, fish, picnic, bird watch, hike, mountain bike, paddle, camp, geocache, study nature or just relax on the beach.

District Rating:

B Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 Schools of Choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Indian Beach is 15 miles from Pleasure Pier, where you can enjoy attractions including rides, midway games, a wide selection of food venues and retail shops. Residents of Indian Beach can explore one of Galvestons historic landmarks at Bishops Palace only 17 miles away. Also, near Indian Beach is Nates Westend Seafood-Steakhouse, Way West Grill & Pizzeria, Jamaica Beach City Park, and Galveston Country Club.
