A hands-on, two-day workshop sponsored by Arkansas’s oil and natural gas community where teachers will learn about this thriving industry and how it has changed the face of Arkansas as a place for business. Teachers will see technology in action as engineers remotely guide drilling from a room miles away from the drilling site, take a tour of actual drilling and hydraulic fracturing jobs in progress and hear more about the regulatory and environmental aspects of the business from state authorities and concerned organizations.
