As native Galvestonian, also known as a BOI (Born on the Island), Alicia Swartz's roots in the community run deep, and have played a pivotal role in her success as a real estate professional.  

Alicia's journey into real estate began over 25 years ago, when she was hired as a front desk receptionist in a real estate office on Tiki Island.  She earned her salesperson license in 2004 and her broker’s license in 2018 after finishing her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017 from The University of Houston - Clear Lake.  She managed several real estate offices including Sand ‘N Sea Properties for over 17 years before turning her focus strictly to selling real estate.  

In her 20+ year career, Alicia has acquired the best skills, practices and procedures from over 30 top producing agents, allowing her to hone her own skills in selling, negotiation, and problem-solving.  This makes her experience uniquely relevant to her field. Alicia has been leaned on for her broad depth of knowledge in the real estate industry by dozens of her peers through the years.  At the same time, Alicia maintains relationships with other mentors in the real estate field to continue her own professional development. Effective networking is crucial and Alicia lies at the heart of the island real estate network. Her passion for real estate is evident in everything she does, whether it is selling, consulting, coaching, training, or leading. Alicia’s comprehensive experience and understanding of current market conditions allows her to positively impact any real estate transaction she is involved in.  

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alicia is a member of the Eastern Stars, an organization which supports and fundraises for the Shriner’s Hospital. Alicia also volunteers her time once a week to deliver Meals on Wheels Galveston and actively participates in community charity events.  Alicia also serves as a board member fer the Galveston Association of Realtors® since 2024.  

In her leisure time, Alicia and her husband are passionate about visiting state and national parks.  They enjoy hiking and exploring, and even take their GSD, Leo, to enjoy nature with them.  They enjoy music, art, and exploring new restaurants. Their son returned from his 4-year tour as a United States Marine and has found his place in the world as a lineman.  Their oldest daughter resides in Galveston County and has a passion for music like her father.  Their youngest daughter started her senior year in high school this year, loves riding horses, and spends most of her time interning at a veterinary clinic and playing with their 2 German Shepherds, Black Mouth Cur and 3-legged cat.
