My wonderful husband of 35 years is Dean Gehring, a Real Estate Attorney in Montgomery County. We grew up in the Tomball / Magnolia area. We both attended Texas Tech University. We both went on to The University of Houston where I obtained my BBA in Marketing and Dean received his Law Degree from University of Houston Law. We have three beautiful children. Two of them are enrolled in Conroe ISD schools. our oldest is attending Texas Tech University. I am an active volunteer. I have also been a Girl Scout volunteer, and a member of the Conroe Service League, a non-profit group that provides many community services and Scholarships to students interested in Fine Arts. In the past I was honored to hold the position of Welfare Chair.

Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Ray ran a small farm for more than eight years, worked in the IT department of a multifamily property management company, and spent several years as a purchasing manager for a manufacturing firm in Houston.

He is a strong advocate for the local Houston Association of REALTOR® (HAR), and has served on the Professional Development, Management Central, Risk Management, TREPAC, Political Affairs, Communication and YPN Advisory Groups. He was Chair of the HAR Governmental Advisory Group for 2016 and 2017, and served as a Region 14 Trustee for the Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) from 2016 to 2019. Ray was on the Executive Board of Texas REALTORS® from 2018 to 2019, and was Chair of the Texas REALTORS® YPN Group in 2020. In 2021, Ray served as the Chair of the NAR Business Issues Policy Committee.

    In 2012, Ray was recognized by HAR's NRG (now YPN) as one of the 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in real estate.

    In 2013, Ray was selected for the highly respected Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) and graduated from the 4-month program, in November, 2013.

    Ray has been active in the leadership of the Greater Houston CRS Chapter, serving as the President-elect in 2013, President of the Chapter in 2014, Past-President in 2015, and Financial Chair in 2016. CRS agents are typically the most knowledgeable professionals in the field and rank in the top 3% across the country.

    After years of successful affiliation with Rodney Powell of Powell Real Estate, Ray opened his own firm, Legacy Texas Properties, in 2013, where he now serves as Broker/ Owner. Legacy Texas Properties is focused on quality client representation and utilizes the latest technology to allow their agents to spend more time serving their clients' needs. Transactions are e-signed through DocuSign, then tracked and shared securely through the DocuSign Transaction Management system.
