DEE DEE Cortez was born in San Antonio, Texas moved with her family many times during her childhood–from Untied States to Mexico and Panama to North Carolina, South Carolina, California, and various other locations. Though she didn't know it at the time, she was continuing to develop the people skills that would be invaluable throughout her life.
