And he proved to be very patient too. I didn't pick the first house we looked at, to say the least. But I never felt pressured during the house hunting process to make a selection. Andrew is very professional and has a ton of experience. He always took the time to explain some of the more complex issues of buying a house and made sure I understood before making any decision. I completely trusted his decision making and was fully onboard with his strategies when negotiating with the other Realtor. He kept me informed and kept in contact every step of the buying process. He was very aware of the type of house we wanted to look at and every house he showed us was in line with what we wanted to see in a house. Ultimately, he was able to find us our dream home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a house and will use him again in the future if we ever decide to sell.

To date, this is the seventh real estate experience I have had with Andrew over the span of about twelve years. This purchase presented a different challenge than all others previously. The challenge presented to Andrew was to assist in identifying and purchasing a vacation property on Lake Conroe with a list of very specific qualifications. The process of finding the "right" property took many hours of research and site visits. Obviously this was a tedious and time consuming process, which I believe many Realtors would not have had the patience and expertise that I rely on Andrew to have. He listened to my concerns, knew my expectations and found the right property hours after it hit the market. Then assisted me in getting the property secured the same day it became available. This was critical, any hesitation and the property would have been off the market within 24 hours. The right Realtor understands, listens and acts immediately. These are the qualities of experience. These are the qualities Andrew brings to the table. I look forward to having Andrew work with me on many more real estate transactions moving forward.

Applying all three minds to it and working together, Andrew and his clients were able to negotiate a very substantial price reduction on this house - and, that was not an easy thing to accomplish, given that the lender's appraisal came back at a value that was higher than the list price! That's the type of results you can expect when you select a seasoned Realtor such as Andrew Taft AND work closely together to GET WHAT YOU WANT !

Our Realtor Andrew was excellent. He was very hands on and knowledgeable about the market and kept us updated at all times. When it came to us doing make ready to sell the house he provided us with great contractors and oversaw them personally through the different phases... When it came to the final processing of documents, he was very fast and makes the whole buying/selling much easier.... I have used him twice now and would highly recommend him to anyone in the future!!!

For this house, the owners had some time urgency for the sale, as they had already moved to another house & didn't wish to carry two payments very long. The combination of the make ready work plus aggressive marketing including repetitive open houses brought us a buyer in 30 days; & the final price we achieved gave the owners 33% more net cash at closing than their original target number. The bottom line is -- HARD WORK by the Listing Agent will make a BIG difference in the final $$$ result!!

It was a pleasure having Andrew as our Realtor. My wife and I were first time sellers and were not aware of what it took to sell a property. Andrew is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain concepts that we were not aware of or confused with. He came up with a great strategy on how to best sell our home for the most value possible. He even came over a couple of weekends to personally do minor repairs on the home that would improve the overall look of the home. He is very hands on and does not mind getting dirty. At one point we had a seller back out at the last minute and Andrew was instrumental in securing $1800 for us due to the negligence of the buyer and his Loan Officer. I highly recommend Andrew and will definitely be returning to him in the future.

The first buyer who signed a contract for this house chose a loan officer who turned out to be incompetent, and as a result that buyer could not get their final mortgage approval done. To compensate my clients for the extra mortgage payments they would have to make in the time it would take to achieve our next/final buyer, I contacted the national headquarters of the lender that had failed to close the first case, and got them to send a check for $1800 to my clients! How about that?!
