Lorrie is a native to this area with family residing in New Braunfels going back to the early 1900's. Lorrie grew up swimming in the Comal river (even before Schlitterbahn) and camping at Canyon Lake. Lorrie raised her family in nearby San Marcos after her marriage to a great guy from nearby Kyle. Lorrie spent her early adult life working in in the communities of New Braunfels, Seguin, and San Marcos.
