I have been in real estate since 1996. My primary focus was in property management for apartment communities in the Houston and surrounding areas. It was through my first home purchase I realized I wanted to be a part of helping others do the same.
I strive to provide my clients with extraordinary customer service and to make your home buying or home selling experience pleasant and enjoyable.
Here to give the guidance and attention you deserve when buying, selling or leasing a home! Making it a priority to protect your interest every step of the way!
Lauren had the honor of receiving both "Rookie of the Year" and "Top Producer" her very first year in the real estate business. It seems like yesterday, but that was over 17 years ago in 2003. Thanks to referrals, wonderful clients, and repeat business, she hasn't stopped since.
Juggling God, Family, and Work, in that order, is no easy task. But like so many other hard working people who deal with the same issue, she can identify and cater her services to your needs, keeping those three important principles in mind. Lauren has three beautiful little girls and sees parenthood as the greatest blessing in her life. Her husband of almost 20 years, Nolan, is also a veteran in the real estate business, specializing in commercial properties. They live in the Lomax area of La Porte, and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere there, as well as all of their friends and neighbors.
Any agent can tell you what you want to hear. But if you’re looking for an agent to be honest, forthright, and realistic, she would love the opportunity to prove herself to you just like she has with so many others.
Trust isn’t something that can be earned reading a few paragraphs. Nor would those paragraphs be able to justify her years of real estate experience and countless fruitful relationships with clients. Give her the opportunity and Lauren will garner both with you.

Real estate for me is such an adventure. I love the whole process. From the first house hunt outing, to the closing. I want to be there for my clients from start to finish.I work in the same office with my Uncle, Cris Barrera. We work as a team called The Barrera Group. It's great for our clients because in essence, they will have two Realtors working for them. I try to take care of all my clients questions, fears, and needs when it comes to real estate. By the end of our experience together, I feel like they are apart of my family. I try to make light of sometimes stressful parts of the process, when some people are upset and angry, I just try to keep it light, laugh, and move on. I tell my clients, WE are in this together, I will be their guide on the house hunt adventure. In the end, we will do everything we can to sell your home, or if you are buying, we will find that "trophy home".
